Banquet Gold Label is a seed and biscuit based diet with a variety of nuts and dried fruits added according to the different species’ mixes.  For parakeets, budgies and other smaller hookedbills and finches and canaries we use a different seed blend.

These products are completely supplemented foods.  They contain our “Essentials” vitamins, highly bio-available “Rapisorb” minerals, limiting amino acids (for stress free moults and weight control), and our “Flourish” herbs for immune and digestive support. The protein-to-energy ratio has been balanced to avoid birds getting overweight.

Banquet is a real alternative to pellets for someone who wants a balanced complete food without having to add supplements. Birds love it and they will be fit and healthy eating it. Because it contains a variety of nutritious foods, your bird is able to balance its protein and energy requirements from the selection.

Banquet Gold Label is a complete food. It should make up at least 75% of the birds diet and the bird must be eating a broad range of its ingredients not just picking out its favourite bits.

While Banquet Gold Label is the core of the diet we encourage you to feed a variety of other foods, fruits, vegetables and some human foods as treats. Avoid dairy products, chocolate, avocado and salty processed foods.

With all Banquet products we advise occasional supplementation with Calcivet.

    Excellent Product

I have bought several items for my birds; and not only did they save the life of one, but I trust that they will be very healthy birds with the nutrients contained within all of the items. I’m grateful for having them available.

    5 Budgies

Posted by Sarah on 13th Feb 2022

I feel this food to my 5 budgies. I sprinkle it on top of vegetables to make sure they eat those too as they love the seed but don't always want to eat the extra biscuit crumb part or the vegetables.

    Fantastic feed

I use Banquet for my 8 Budgie's and combine it with Feast (fruity). As soon as I open their cage in the mornings they flock to the feeders they love it. Since I started using these products my birds have become more active and vocal, they're full of beans, and also looking healthier fantastic food well worth getting.

    Dusty

Posted by Unknown on 1st Jan 2019

My two cockatiels love this product. I've been using Banquet for the last 18 years and my only complaint at this time is that the product is dusty. OK after blowing the dust off and the birds feed, no problem.

    Good

I prefer this seed to pellets as looks more natural. Took time for my bird to realise he has to eat biscuits too so he is still transitioning. He's a 10 year old African Ringneck.

    Posh Seed

Posted by Susan Armstrong on 3rd Oct 2016

My Cockatoo loves Banquet. She gets it after "birdie time" and when you say to her "time for posh seed" she scurries back to her cage and waits patiently for me to put it in for her :)
