Complete Nectar Food for Loris, Lorikeets and other brush tongue parrots - does not separate! Golden Tropic Lori Nectar is a complete food with great palatability that contains all the vitamin and mineral expertise that is the hallmark of Birdcare Company products.

Equally importantly, it has a good protein content which distinguishes it from most other nectar foods on the market. The higher quality protein levels mimic more closely the content of nectar foods in the wild and make a considerable difference to birds health, their ability to breed and their ability to raise their youngsters. It also leads to quicker and easier moults both for adults and for youngsters, particularly at that all critical weaning stage, as well as contributing to gleaming quality feathers enhancing their beauty.

In trials we found that because of its complete formulation, birds were eating between 25-50% less of Golden Tropic than any other nectar food, either formulated or home-made, which when combined with no loss of weight or condition means great savings for you. With the reduced intake, it also means less messy droppings. If you wish, Golden Tropic Lori Nectar can be fed thicker than described in the application rate or even dry, as long as fresh drinking water is always available. The less water you put in the formulation, the less messy the droppings will be.

Golden Tropic Lori Nectar application:
Dissolve in water at the rate of 50g powder to 180mls water.
Active ingredients:
Vitamin A - 12,500, vitamin D3 - 1500ius, vitamin E - 30ius. Also includes Vitamin K, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Riboflavin, Thiamine, Pyroxidine, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Choline Bitartrate and Biotin.
Active ingredients continued:
Minerals include selenium, iron, cobalt, manganese, copper, magnesium, zinc, sulphur, sodium and iodine. Protein 14% (min), Fibre 1.5% (min), Fat 4.4% (min). Energy 16,342 Kj per Kg.

    The only place in the country with top notch food for Lorikeets and other brush tongue species.The Bird Care Company is by far the very best source for everything birdy! Charlotte and the team are just brilliant and always a pleasure to speak to,the food is dispatched super quick and 99% of the time arrives next day,if not the day after, Lori my Black Capped Lory and Tiki my Glossy Lory love this food and refuse to eat other makes ,I think that says alot! Will continue to buy from this great company,if I could give 10 stars then I would :)

    hi - I've been using this product for about 5 years now and I have tried other products, but our Rainbow Lorikeet ( Charlie ) loves this nectar especially when it is mixed with ( HEINZ PEACH & APRICOT Porridge 4 Months + smooth texture ) baby food. For 5 years now I have mixed this on a 1 to 1 basis, I mix it with cold water and I don't have it too thick nor too runny as it has to be just right for him. I've tried giving it him dry but he dosen't like it like that neither. Charlie appears to be a very happy bird always whistling and talking all day long till he tells us he wants to be covered up its bedtime by saying "night night charlie " and a " night night Alfie" who is his best pal our Quaker Parakeet.

    I swapped to this nectar, several months ago. I found the product easy to use and mix. The feather condition has improved, and I have had chicks as well.
