Eggfood is the name commonly given to a supplemented crumb-like food which bird keepers have traditionally fed to their birds alongside suitable seed mixtures. Quantities given usually increase markedly during the breeding season.

Young chicks are very dependent on the feed from their parents (or you if you are handrearing!) and the quality of the food is very important.  Feast Eggfoods are great for increasing the protein and vitamin/mineral content of the seed diet for better breeding results. They are also a really great food for adding other supplements to, as dry seed is not good for this role since most birds husk their seed meaning they would then not actually eat the supplements you might have thoughtfully added. Feast Eggfoods can also be mixed in with chopped fruits and vegetables for parrot species.

Feast is the first ever soft food to contain a prebiotic. Prebiotics are natural substances that help create a good environment for the friendly bacteria and, at the same time, make it a less attractive place for nasty germs like protozoa and disease causing bacteria. As well as this, Feast also contains natural immunomodulators that maximise the effect of the bird's natural immune system all of which combine to help reduce the risk of young chicks succumbing to disease. Feast has a 16% protein level and contains a comprehensive range of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

Feast Eggfood application:
Feast can be fed dry or moistened for improved palatability. To moisten, mix in small amounts of water until the desired, crumbly, consistency is reached. Do not add too much water. Can also be moistened with grated carrot or similar.
Active ingredients:
Contents include niger seed, 16% protein, cereal derivatives, Vitamins A, D3, E, B1 (Thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin), B6 (Pyridoxine), B12, Biotin, Choline Bitartrate, Folic Acid, Niacin Pantothenic acid.
Active ingredients continued:
Minerals including selenium, iron, cobalt, manganese, copper, magnesium, zinc, sulphur and iodine. Comprehensive range of limiting amino acids including Methionine and Lysine. Selected herbs and bentonite. Powerful package of natural anti-oxidants.

    I know a lot of breeders give it dry in a separate pot the previous owner did using EMP and then changed it when chicks it box to another egg food. I have just started keeping conures decided to mix mine (fruity Feast) with either grated carrot or squeezed orange bits so it is only slightly moist and place it either on the seed or fruit/veg pots - may change my mind in the summer and put it in dry to ensure it does not go off quickly in the heat. It gets eaten every time and hopefully, the vitamins etc are will be doing them good and will find out when they breed. In the meantime, they certainly seem to have got fitter and excited since I got them on it. Dip your wet finger in the feast and lick it, it even tastes fruity and scrumptious to us humans.

    We have used feast as the basis of a mash for many years now - it's simply the best. All our birds love it.

    Kept birds for over thirty years , found birdcare company products about twelve years ago when recommended by a bird breeder , I've bred budgies and cockatiels and always had fantastic success my birds love feast egg food I serve it moist made with a little cooled boiled water and I mix it up to make it crumb like in texture they love it , cockatiels pace up and down waiting for it

    A wonderful product

    Ever since we started using Feast Eggfood our bird started to pick up right away and we have never looked back! Our bird is a Starling and we have had her ever since she fell from our roof, not long after coming out the egg and didn't even have any feathers. For about a year (after the advice from our vet), we fed her wet cat food with dry egg yolk and live Mealy worms. After a year we noticed that her feathers were falling off her as soon as the grew, which left her patchy and her nails and beak where growing to long and the vet didn't give her much hope as she was getting to much protein! I got on to the internet as soon as I got home and I was very lucky to find your site, as you had the exact food we needed! As soon as we started feeding her with your product Eggfood Feast, we started to see a big turnaround. She started to grow strong feathers and her nails and beak started to stop growing and her wings got a great deal stronger to fly! Now she looks like a striking Starling and boy is she beautiful! The vet couldn't believe she was the same bird and is extremely happy with her. We love her very much and are extremely delighted with your Eggfood Feast product. Thank you so much for a wonderful product.

    Well my birds certainly think so! One pair have reared 19 babies in three hatches (6, 8 & 5) on this and they didn't loose one baby. They prefer the fruit flavour....

    Thank you for such a wonderful service - my Meyer was watching me when your package arrived and when I showed her your bag of feast she started screeching with joy - very loudly. When I filled up her bowls she was picking up bits and coming over to show me them and screeching even louder like a scream of delight - you made one Meyer very happy indeed! Thank you - and for such a Speedy Efficient service -makes all the difference :-)

    Nutrient rich. My 2 budgies reach for this first when I refresh the dishes in the morning and when I return home later in the day. It can dry out during the day when I find its not so appealing to them when this happens but it can be moistened with a few drops of water. I add a pinch of calcivet powder and a little easybird supplement to the mix 2-3 times weekly. Highly recommend.
