A powerful bird disinfectant effective against Coronavirus at a 1:50 dilution rate & DEFRA approved against Avian Flu!
Our manufacturer has confirmed that Avisafe disinfectant is effective against Coronavirus at a 1:50 dilution rate! It is also DEFRA approved against Avian Flu! Protect yourself and your birds.
Avisafe has a verified pass for both Feline and Human Coronavirus. This covers all enveloped viruses including all coronaviruses.
Avisafe can be used safely for a broad range of cleaning requirements.
Avisafe - key features:
Avisafe is DEFRA approved against three orders:
DEFRA approved disinfectants should be on your list of "keep in the cupboard" products. This will reduce the risk of Avian Flu in your flock. Avisafe is on the list.
Strict hygiene is essential in bird keeping, especially in light of the latest Avian Flu reports. Poultry are particularly susceptible, but we can’t rule out the risk that our cage & aviary birds have with avian flu. Baby birds (especially hand reared ones) do not have well-developed immune systems so they need extra special care. Ensuring that feed and water containers are cleaned properly and that cages are routinely disinfected is simple sound advice.
The really important factor to consider is whether your disinfectant kills a broad spectrum of germs. Many only kill bacteria and yet, as pointed out, we have already discovered that viruses are a major threat. Don’t forget the risk from yeasts and fungi too.
Avisafe is effective against viruses, yeasts, fungi and bacteria
Stop Press – Avisafe has been tested and approved by DEFRA as effective against highly Pathogenic Avian Flu! Also effective against Coronavirus! It is also an excellent cleaner so is great for removing bird droppings from cages and perches. It can be used onto cage walls and perches and left to dry. There is no need to remove birds from the cages/aviary.
The most attractive features of Avisafe are its pleasant smell and economy. Because it stays active in water for up to six months most people dilute it in a spray bottle and apply it that way. This uses far less disinfectant than the usual cloth and bucket technique.
Top tip!
Viruses can be carried on your shoes and clothes, why not soak a mat in Avisafe to disinfect the soles of your footwear.

Thrilled to be using this product prior to the Corona virus pandemic, and elated to know it is affected against the c virus. Given the product to my family to use personally. It is not too harsh on my skin, when diluted properly. All the more important to keep my chucks clean as they provide me with protein. Thank you.

Good for the chicken coop hygiene and a godsend during the Corona virus pandemic. Using it indoors for handles, taps, knobs etc. Using it on a cloth when a spray is not to be used.

I've used Avisafe for many years. It seems expensive but it lasts ages. I dilute it in a bucket for the floor, use it in sprays for cleaning awkward cages. It has a fresh not too perfumed smell and is without doubt the best product for removing droppings.

I bought this produce as sprays were not appropriate. It is very easy to dilute, non toxic and my little birdy has had no problems or illnesses. I've been using it for six months now. It's provided me with a means to clean the bird cage without too much disturbance to the bird. It's very good with surfaces. It also smells lovely actually. A fresh smell of the cage is simply wonderful.
