Great service and great products I use calcivet for my breeding pairs and it has the birds right with great results

I have used this ( powered version which I prefer) consistently as directed before egg laying and drop to two days a week the rest of the year after babies have finished growing. I have never had any problems with poor egg quality, egg bound hens or splayed legs etc. I have also used a loading dose of calcivet on a blue and gold macaw which I rehomed with poor feather quality and withheld feather sheaths along with the normal DE3 and feast. I did this for a month before dropping to 2 days a week. When blood and disease testing failed to find a reason for the withheld sheaths despite the bird having previously been on a ‘good’ diet ( Harrison’s pellets) I asked the Bird care company and they recommended these steps to take. 18 months later the macaw is in beautiful condition. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy to administer with soft food I prefer the powder rather than liquid

I add to soft food every day during the breeding season, three times a week during moult and winter.

Add it to my Ringnecks veggie chop twice a week as he had no sources of calcium or D in his previous home. Only wish it came with a tiny spoon as trying to pinch the product is messy.
