A liquid calcium supplement for birds with added vitamin D3 for addition into drinking water or onto moist/soft foods.
Most of the cuttlefish which is supplied to try to raise calcium levels when eaten by the bird goes straight out in the droppings. As with other minerals the difficulty is absorbing it into the bloodstream. So The Birdcare Company developed a super-saturated chelated calcium solution called Cacivet. Calcivet (CalciBoost in America) uses a chelated mineral technology similar to the calcium supplied in nature by plants. So it is easily absorbed and quickly gets to the bones, nerves and muscles where it is needed. It is such an effective calcium source that most of the year you will only need it once or twice a week (definitely twice for African greys and eclectus).

Great product and so easy to use
Great product and so easy to use. Given directly into the crop I've had a splayed legged hen back on the perch overnight.

Calcivet
Used this product since my 16 year old black headed caiuqe was young. It was recommended by a breeder. I give 4 drops in the fruit bowel 4times a week then 4 day without then 4 with daily essentials and four without As I only have one small parrot the bottle could be a bit smaller and you need to have a look at the quality of the pin in the bottle top it snapped of after been used twice.

Good Nutrition Essential
I have used Calcivet for years. I give 3 days a week in the run up to the breeding season. I use both types my Amazon's wash the powder off their walnuts and almonds. My African Grays are much better and not fitting and dying. I've lost to many hens to lack of calcium

Calming
I was given 3 canaries that were clearly not well. (I was furious toward the people who claimed to be breeders handing a relative such ill birds, but glad they are being looked after by me now.) They looked the usual ill, and I'm treating them for airsac mites, worms and bacterial problems, using other products from TBCC to strengthen their immune systems and gut systems, and for moulting. Guardian Angel was my first port of call. Amazing product! There is a marked difference in their mood and their feathers since using Calcivet. Noticable from the day after the first use. I'm very grateful!

Egg shell super boost
After a few doses of this product the egg shells of the one hen producing shells so weak you often couldn’t pick up the egg without breaking it were performing as egg shells should!
