On food multi-vitamins and minerals for birds. Add to softfood or fruits/vegetables. Contains 13 different vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

Not all useful ingredients come in a nice water soluble form. In these cases, a non-soluble product such as Daily Essentials3 which gets mixed into moist food may be better. Methionine, which is great at speeding up moults, dissolves in water but often smells disgusting like rotting cabbage therefore we put this in our on-food version.

Another consideration is that birds eating lots of moist foods obtain most of their liquid needs this way and so have little desire to drink water. Think birds eating chopped fruits or vegetables. So if you put supplements in the water, it is expensive for you and no value to the birds. The answer is to mix Daily Essentials3 into their finely chopped fruit, soaked seed or eggfood (Feast).

Key Features: mixes easily into moist foods. For all year round use and suitable for young and older birds. Promotes good health, condition and can aid with feathering and moulting problems.

    No complaints

I have been using DE 3 for a few years as part of the supplements I give my birds, usually with feast and then calcivet 2x a week. It is difficult to really say what difference it has made as my birds have always eaten plenty of fresh and sprouted food, however, the difference some of the other BCC products has made to the birds has been beyond question - so I have no qualms in relying on this as a good multivitamin to cover all the bases that may otherwise be missed. Will use again.

Because he is still transitioning to his Banquet I feel more comfortable adding Daily Essentials 3 to his veggie chop to make sure he is getting his nutrients.

Have been a Birdcare customer for about 20 years and have always found their products the best on the market - their back up services are also of the very highest order - fully recommended.
