Vitamin and mineral supplement for soft bills.
Add to insectivorous diets. Insect Essentials contains a full vitamin and mineral range as well as extra calcium to address the calcium/phosphorous in balance in insectivorous diets and also limiting amino acids, lysine and methionine.
Alternatively, put insects in a bag with Insect Essentials and shake until coated.
Insect Essentials will help with the general health of your bird, as well as helping with moulting.
If a calcium deficiency is suspected, then Calcivet can be used alongside Insect Essentials.
- Insect Essential application:
- Add to food daily at the rate of 1 level teaspoon per kg bird weight. e.g. 1 teaspoon per day for 7 British Blackbirds. Alternatively, put live foods ins a bag with Insect Essentials and shake until coated.
